Jjolmyeon is a food made by mistake.
In the early 1970s, a thick noodle was made by inserting a wrong injection machine while trying to
extract cold noodles from a noodle factory called "Gwangsinje-myeon."
The noodles, which were to be discarded, were taken from a nearby snack shop called "Mannadang" and
seasoned with red pepper paste to develop a new menu.
